Yeah, you don't need a dentist. When you learn how to use this and you start seeing build up come off you will gain so much confidence you might prick yourself! This should only be used on the highest setting, but after your first initial use you can lower it if you wish, it takes care of EVERYTHING, from simple plaque and tartar in hard to reach places, to caked up calculus if you may have that. you can almost chew on it while scraping, SLOWLY of course and it digs through anything in the highest setting, go to a dentist for molars and whitening, you're good to go.

I love this. A helpful hint when using this product- I have a mirror on 5X power that I put on my desk. I also have a dental mirror so I can see the back of my teeth. This really helps me see where there is plaque stuck in the back of the teeth, and the 5X mirror helps with the front. Very easy to use, but I do five seconds per tooth, then go to the next tooth, and go back and forth until all the plaque is removed. Doing it this way helps prevent the pressure from hurting your teeth and gums- I still do about 30 seconds worth per tooth, but in five seconds increments. I wish I wasn’t so excited, I would’ve taken a before and after! This thing works! Not by itself, you have to put in some work, but it’s minimal work. The tool is not going to remove tartar or plaque on its own. To use it, you turn it up because it has a high setting, and put a little pressure on what you’re trying to remove and it will come off. Give it time, be patient, it really works. I’ve removed most of what I’ve bought it for and I have t had to tool 24 hours. Buy it!!

It really works! I've only used it once so far and I love it. The vibration took a minute to get use to but after getting the hang of using it, it was a breeze. I had been bothered by a few tea/coffee stains around the gumline, but I did not feel seeing a hygienist was necessary at this point.
At first, I was a little scared about this electric tartar remover as the needle looks very sharp.
However, I felt very comfortable, just like using my Panasonic electric toothbrush. This stain remover had done a great job to remove the stains, but the needle did not hurt my gums. I feel my teeths are cleaner and healthier, and I defintely feel more confident.
I would recommend to use this stain remover with "pre-wash," such as Plax, which softens the calculus residues and makes the process even smoothier.

Like many companies on Amazon, YES they do offer to give you a free gift if you leave a review (doesn’t have to be 5 stars). However, that isn’t my reason for giving this a high rating. I used this device on my boyfriend and I was mind blown by how well it worked. He’s a smoker so his teeth were stained, but with this tool it came right off. I will say this takes a lot of time and patience. You have to consistently work on the problem area in order for this to be effective. But it definitely gets the job done. Give it a few sessions and stay consistent if you want results.

I got this to take care of my teeth during shelter in place, and it's honestly exactly what you need for a quick touch-up on your gums/teeth. I only have a couple of gripes: the unit comes with a charging cord but not the plug adapter. I understand the this is international and not all plugs are the same but I guess I wasn't expecting to have to supply my own plug. My other gripe is that this could be improved by combining it with a waterpik so that there's also jets of water shooting along the tip, just like a real dental prophy cleaning. I supposed that would raise the price a little bit, but I don't see how it would affect the size all that much. In any case, this was pleasantly very useful.

Since COVID, I haven’t been able to get my regular cleanings at the dentist so I decided to buy this to control calculus build up. IT WORKS SO WELL. For the most part is it almost completely painless too! Within my first use, I was able to remove almost all visible tartar completely! I have used this about 4-5 times & haven’t had to recharge yet! I can’t say if this tool can replace the treatment you’d get at the dentist, but it’s great for at home ‘deep’ teeth cleaning.

I have honestly been awaiting the arrival of this package and as soon as it arrived I didnt hesitate to put it to use right away. It already came charged so I turned it on and started working on some stains between my teeth. With minor adjustment of power setting and using a firmer push, the stains slowly started to disappear. The product comes with a rechargeable battery and an USB cable w/o a power adapter so I am using a spare one from an old phone.
After trying it several times now I believe this product is better suited to be used as a dental plaque scraper, not sure how it should be used as a stain remover (unless the stains are actual build ups).
With good light and visibility I think fairly good results could be achieved on easy accessible surfaces and difficult or not so suitable for spaces between teeth.
Can’t compare it with other similar products (my first one) but overall to me it looks like a good product.

This product is great for a basic cleaning. As a former vet tech who did dental cleanings on cats and dogs many times a day and the Granddaughter and Great Granddaughter of dentists, I was worried that there was no way to spray water at the same time but auto shut off feature every 3 minutes is a great solution. I first used it on myself. Felt like I just left the dentist. Then I used it on my dog who has serious dental calculus build up but can't go under anesthesia to get a dental cleaning at the vet. He's used to getting his teeth brushed with an electric toothbrush but removing hard calculus is completely different! The scaler was quiet and gentle, yet strong enough to break off pieces of rock hard calculus....I was amazed; except now I dont have one anymore lol.
Definitely recommend it, just don't press too hard when applying pressure to your teeth and be sure to use a dental polish after to seal microscope holes that occur during every routine dental cleaning...you can use an electric toothbrush for that.

I got this to see if it would help me get rid of tea stains on my teeth. It did!!!! I just got it today and it worked really well, it took me about 15 minutes to gently remove the stains from 4 teeth that were affected. I am so happy, it’s hit or miss if the dentist office does this during a cleaning, so now I’m not reliant on them once every 6 months to hopefully do it, I can just do it myself with this! You don’t have to scrape either just gently run the end of the scaling end back nd forth over the area and you can see the difference rather quickly (a minute or so). Also used this on plaque behind lower teeth and worked really well!

Used it for the first time that night. Already came charged. I have a permanent retainer on the back of my bottom teeth. So alot of plaque builds up there. And with covid going on, I don't want to go to the dentist right now. (Plus I hate the dentist) I used this product for about 10-15 minutes and it cleared up most of my plaque build up no problem. There are a couple places I need to try again. But overall it was great. It doesn't hurt. Yes my gums bled a little bit, but that was expected. I bought this for my wife because she is always trying the latest tooth whitening and cleaning stuff. She loved it and said it was easy to use and made her teeth feel like she just had them cleaned at the dentist. It takes a few sessions to really see the results and it takes some time but the results are well worth the effort. This might sound weird but she even tried it on our dog and it cleaned up his gum line very nicely. The soft buzzing sound calmed him while she was using it on him. Great little instrument for the price! It has controls to increase and decrease the vibration which is nice. Comfort grip handle. The only issue I ran into is it is a bit difficult to hold doing the backside of the bottom teeth, but that is expected. The vibration really does add extra loosening power to hard to reach plaque between close teeth. I would recommend this product.

This product is great! But it is for removing tarter or calculus that can contain bacteria. It might remove some plaque too that is in the tarter.
I had a lot of tarter (the hard stuff). I put it on the next to lowest setting and I use it daily and do a little at a time and it is removing my tarter on the back of my teeth and in between too. It has taken a few days of about 5 minutes each and it is almost gone. So far I haven't had any bleeding from getting it off since part of the calculus is to the gum line. I highly recommend it.

So, I did a ton of research because I wasn’t sure. This product had such good reviews that I told myself that I’ll give it a shot. It’s the best dang thing you can spend money on. I literally fell in love with it. It’s super easy to use, it’s painless, ergonomic, practical and portable.
One thing I would advise people though. This thing isn’t a miracle. It does take the calculus away but you have to be patient with it. It won’t come out in two seconds. I purchased this product as it's only been a few months since my last cleaning and I'm noticing stains/plaque on my bottom teeth. I am a HEAVY coffee drinker and was a heavy smoker (recently quit) so I decided to attempt to try since every whitening product out there was not working.
I'm quite frankly impressed at the performance. It took a bit to get used to steadying the unit and I don't think i would have been as successful without a magnifying mirror. It takes some work but I was able to remove all of the stains (95%) off my bottom teeth in under an hour with some breaks.
I continue to use the unit once a week and I'm hoping when my next dentist appt comes around I get a bit of recognition.

I bought this because my dentist appointment for plaque removal got pushed off to the end of the year due to COVID- (I have a gum disease which causes plaque to be worse then the average person) I thought this might help until I could get in to the dentist. So yeah I was very skeptical. I have issues on my front bottom teeth with stains as I got older with coffee and such. It was pretty embarrassing. I figured I would give this a shot. I used very light pressure and I was amazed. After a minute or so I saw the stains just start to go away a few more minutes spent and I can now smile and not worry about the embarrassing stain on my lower teeth. I have irritated gums around a couple of implants that I have. If I go get my teeth cleaned they feel fine for a week or two and then I am back to the irritations again. So I did not think this would work for me but I was shocked that it did. I had to go over the areas more than once so it wasn't an immediate fix-probably because I was still learning how to use the tool properly. Anyhow I am so pleased those areas have been pain free for a month now and I love this thing. I think it is not something that will help with discolorations but is perfect for getting down into the deeper areas of the gum line. It is a plaque buster for sure. Let's preface this by saying I've had a lifelong battle with my teeth. I brush. I floss. I swish. And I still have crazy plaque build up and problems. I had a manual scraper I was trying to use to remove the buildup that seems to primarily congregate on the back of my front teeth. It never really did the job and I was scared to dig too hard for fear of damaging my teeth. This scraper arrived yesterday and I've used it three times already since then. It will probably take a few more uses to be 100% free of the buildup but it made a huge impact in just those couple of times. Easy to use. I don't have to push or dig or scrape at all - just gently tough the plaque on the tooth. This is so much better! If you struggle with your teeth and are on the fence, I highly recommend trying one of these. I haven't had it long and haven't tried other brands, so I can't compare, but I'm extremely pleased.

I almost gave up on it. I was very hopeful that this would work-- so much so, that i gave it FOUR trys! Thankfully I didn't give up because now I LOVE IT!!!!! The reason why i wasn't seeing huge results right away in part was because 1.) I wasn't sure on how to use it, and 2.) I was not being persistent. I expected "immediate results" but it does NOT work that way when you've have years of dental plaque buildup. You need to really go over the same area over and over and over and over until you get the result you want. I tried not to spend too much of my day on it so I took a little under a week to finish all of my affected areas. Now i proudly want to show off my teeth; now I have more confidence! So when I first tried it out, I didnt notice much of anything happening.. It felt as useless as taking a fingernail and scratching a candle to get through the wax and to the wick in the center :/ I was frustrated and annoyed and was very aware that I could potentially hurt my teeth if I used it incorrectly... So I turned to youtube!! After watching a few cleaning videos I tried the technique of running the tip along the groove between two teeth and using more pressure than I had been before- and I finally started seeing results from that! This is no substitute for going to the dentist. But great for in between visits. I like how well it does work, especially on the back of my teeth where a tooth brush don't always get to. You have to be careful using it like any other thing. The handle is comfortable in your hand. It is rechargeable. You can use your computer to recharge it or use a USB adapter plug in. Personally I think its a great little product!

The calculus remover arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. My teeth, particularly at the gum line, have stained more easily as I have aged. I have my teeth cleaned twice a year, but the stain along the gums begins to show after a few weeks (age plus too much coffee). This tool is light and easy to use, although some time is required. Besides my regular dental cleaning routine, I accept my dentist advice to buy the electric dental calculus remover and satisfied so far. Along in my traveling life, it is small and portable, the 5 modes let me easy to adjust among the options to fit my sensitive gum. USB charger is compatible with other devices, it does help my daily life to reduce the stain of tooth plaques. Charging is quick and low sound operating while using. If more colors would be great for whole family.

I used this calculus scraper and it cleared most of my plaque. ive never used one of these before but i got the idea to search for a consumer version after a $100 dental visit for teeth cleaning/plaque removal which the dentist said i need to come back every 6 months to do. a steady-ish hand and light application is all you need with this tool to save loads of money at the dentist. i gave it 5 stars because it is very effective for $20 when compared to dentist bills. i did it myself. i imagine you can get even better results if you can get someone to do it for you with care. very happy with this purchase!!

I am a heavy coffer and tea drinker and my teeth got lots of blackish brown stain. My friend who works in dentist office recommend using a calculus removal tool before bedtime. This is my first electrical dental item, it is very light weight, the vibration power is reasonable and love the price even more! There honestly wasn’t much to dislike about this product. It works as described and does an awesome job! I was really nervous about using it on my teeth/gums because they are very sensitive however, it doesn’t hurt at all and maybe even tickles a little bit. I seem to get a lot of plaque buildup behind my front bottom teeth And after using just twice, all of that build up is gone! It actually feels like I had a professional cleaning at the dentist. Of course, this does not replace going to the dentist at all but this is an awesome little tool. It’s made out of bacteria resistant silicone, Nice sleek design and comes in two colors, easy to charge, easy to use and I am very impressed with how well this product works. I definitely recommend

It's my friend told me this kind of toothpick. I searched it, found it's not expensive and bought one. Dental scaler really helpful over my thought. It can clean my tooth at each time in any place, and works better than dental floss. Handiness and easy to use.

I like the feel of the tool in your hand, it is easy to grip and hold onto without slippage. It does vibrate very softly but quickly so it does the job well. I felt and noticed a difference after the first use. It does come with directions for use, yet we all would benefit from more complete instructions such as how often to use and tricks of the 'tooth trade' as to how to get the best usage out of it. Overall though, for now, I believe this to be a very good purchase for the price.

I wasn’t planning on writing a review, I hardly ever do. But this thing exceeded my expectations. I had tartar build up behind my front bottom teeth and tried my hardest to floss it out. Using this and 15 minutes later it’s all gone. The picture is after I wish I took a before all the dark around my teeth is where tartar was and is now gone. So happy with this purchase

The calculus remover arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. My teeth, particularly at the gum line, have stained more easily as I have aged. I have my teeth cleaned twice a year, but the stain along the gums begins to show after a few weeks (age plus too much coffee). This tool is light and easy to use, although some time is required. It is great to remove stain between cleaning

So I just got my new dental calculus remover in the mail and I really love it. It comes in two different colors pink and blue but the blue is more like a turquoise color, it’s very light weight and perfect size. The hand grip is a soft material and the item comes with some charge when you first get it but I recommend that you charge it. The green light means that it has a full charge and the red light at the bottom means charging. I think that is also perfect for traveling because it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I used the item and I believe that it helps a lot to remove the calculus on your teeth and it almo makes them feel softer after the cleaning. I would definitely recommend the item to others. Love it love it love it.

arrived super fast and just as described I put the tool to charge after about 30 minutes the light was green indicating it was ready.... so after a couple of tries I just could not get it to work like I would hope but today I sat down and really dedicated my self to doing it and after about 20 minutes I started seeing results..... granted I’m not finished but I am extremely happy with my purchase and how good my teeth are coming out
